What sacrifices have you made in life?

In the depths of my soul, a fire burns bright,
A flame ignited by divine love’s light.
I stand in awe of the sacrifice so grand,
When Christ gave His all to redeem this land.
Oh, Jesus, my Savior, pure and true,
I’m humbled by the grace You freely bestow.
You laid down Your life on that rugged cross,
To save us from sin and reconcile the lost.
You left the glory of heaven above,
For a manger’s embrace and a life so tough.
In Bethlehem’s stable, a King was born,
Destined to bear the weight of our scorn.
You walked this earth, love’s embodiment,
With compassion and mercy, You were sent.
You healed the sick and raised the dead,
Gave sight to the blind, and broke every dread.
But it was on Calvary’s hill, where You bled,
That the greatest sacrifice was made and said.
With nails in Your hands, and thorns on Your brow,
You willingly died to save us somehow.
No greater love has the world ever known,
Than the love You displayed, though all alone.
You carried the weight of our sin and strife,
To grant us eternal and abundant life.
So I stand here today, in awe of Your grace,
Yearning to live as a reflection of Your embrace.
I’ll sacrifice my all, surrender my will,
To follow You faithfully, seeking to fulfill.
For in losing my life, I gain so much more,
A love that’s eternal, a purpose secure.
In sacrificing it all for Christ Jesus, I find,
The beauty of redemption, the joy of being Thine.
