Meet Cornelius Bella
I’m Cornelius Bella — a Christian author, pastor, storyteller and creator of Kingdom Comics. I am also known as The Smiling Preacher.
My life and writing are centred on a simple conviction: whatever God places in our hands should ultimately be used for His glory and for the good of people.
Through Christian books, articles, teaching and visual storytelling, I seek to communicate biblical truth in ways that are clear, practical, engaging and relevant to everyday life. My writing explores faith, spiritual growth, prayer, discipleship, family, purpose, leadership and the questions people face as they seek to know God and walk with Him.
The Smiling Preacher
The Smiling Preacher is a name that reflects something deeper than a title. It expresses my desire to communicate the hope, joy and transforming truth of the Gospel while continually pointing people to Jesus Christ.
For me, ministry and writing are not separate worlds. Whether I am teaching, writing an article, developing a book or telling a story, the purpose remains the same: to make biblical truth understandable, memorable and applicable to real life.
Pastoral Ministry
Pastoral ministry is an important part of my life and calling. I serve as Pastor of the Dream Centre Europe Zone of The Dream Centre of the LifeOasis International Church.
Through biblical teaching, prayer, discipleship, pastoral care and Christian leadership, I have the privilege of serving people and helping them grow in their walk with God.
My pastoral experience continues to shape my writing because many of the questions people wrestle with are not merely theoretical. They concern faith, family, relationships, decisions, spiritual growth, purpose, adversity and learning how to walk faithfully with God in everyday life.
Through both ministry and writing, my desire is to help people know God more deeply, grow in His Word and live out their Christian faith practically.
A Journey of Writing and Storytelling
Writing has been part of my journey for many years. What began as a desire to share thoughts, lessons and biblical insights has grown into an expanding body of Christian writing spanning articles, books and stories.
Over the years, CorneliusBella.blog has become the online home for much of my writing. Across hundreds of published articles, I have explored subjects including Christian living, prayer, spiritual growth, discipleship, family, purpose, leadership and the practical application of biblical truth to everyday life.
That journey has also grown into published books. My desire as an author is not simply to add more books to the world, but to create resources that genuinely help people — to answer questions, strengthen faith, encourage spiritual growth and leave something of lasting value for present and future generations.

Kingdom Comics is the Christian graphic-novel and visual-storytelling brand I created to tell compelling, faith-building stories rooted in biblical truth.
Kingdom Comics brings together faith, imagination and visual storytelling to create stories that can inspire, equip and strengthen believers while presenting Christian truth in a format capable of reaching new generations of readers.
Its growing catalogue includes From Ashes to a Crown, a Christian graphic novel centred on grace, courage, purpose and the transforming power of God.

Beyond Writing
Beyond writing, storytelling and pastoral ministry, my journey has also included a professional career spanning pharmacy and public health. These different areas of life have given me opportunities to work with, serve and learn from people from many backgrounds and at different stages of life.
They have also shaped the way I write. I believe faith must speak to real life — to our relationship with God, our families, our work, our choices, our challenges and the purpose for which we have been created.
Whether through ministry, professional service, books, articles or stories, my desire is to use what God has placed in my hands to serve people faithfully and make a meaningful difference.
Why I Write
At the heart of everything I write is a desire to honour God. I do not want writing simply to become something I do; I want it to remain an expression of stewardship — using the gifts, experiences, opportunities and stories God has entrusted to me for His purposes.
One prayer captures the kind of life I desire to live:
“May not a single moment of my life be spent outside the light, love and joy of God’s presence, and not a moment without the entire surrender of myself to Him. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!”
