🎨 God is My Favorite Artist

Who are your favorite artists?

When people ask me, “Who are your favorite artists?”, my answer always surprises them. I don’t start with the latest musician, painter, or poet. My first and ultimate favorite Artist is God Himself.

Why? Because true artistry flows from Him. Every melody, every brush stroke, every lyric that touches your soul is only a reflection of His greater, eternal masterpiece.

✨ The Bible shows us God as the first and greatest Artist:

• The Creator of beauty:

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)

Creation itself is His canvas—sunsets painted in fire, galaxies arranged like jewels, oceans conducting symphonies with their waves.

• The Master Craftsman:

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…” (Ephesians 2:10).

You and I are His living art. Every person carries His intentional design, woven with divine creativity.

• The Singer over His people:

“The LORD your God in your midst… will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17).

Imagine it—God Himself sings! His voice is the fountain of every song that carries true healing and power.

So when I talk about favorite artists, I must first honor the Source of Artistry—God. Every human artist who ministers in songs, paints with inspiration, or writes with depth, is simply echoing what God has already authored.

The psalmists knew this:

“Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.” (Psalm 33:3)

Skill, creativity, expression—all come alive when they are connected to God’s Spirit.

That’s why my heart gravitates toward worshippers and ministers who don’t just perform but minister under the power of the Spirit. They are not competing with God’s artistry; they are unveiling it.

🌌 True artistry is not self-expression—it’s God-expression.

It is allowing the Master’s hand to guide your brush, your voice, your pen, your instrument.

So yes, I admire many singers, writers, and creators. But my favorite Artist will forever be God, the One who painted the skies, sculpted humanity, and still writes new songs in the hearts of His people today.

🎶 And every time we create under His anointing, we are not just making art—we are echoing the eternal masterpiece of the Divine Artist.
