A Resurrection of Hope: Triumph over Affliction through Unyielding Faith

This is an excerpt from the experience of deliverance and healing narrated by Smith Wigglesworth:

In the clutches of relentless suffering, my body weakened by six months of debilitating appendicitis, I found myself at the precipice of despair. Physicians saw no possibility of recovery, and my wife braced herself for the inevitable. Yet, in that dire moment, a faint glimmer of hope emerged – a glimpse of Jesus as the ultimate Healer.

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all.” – Mark 16:16-17

Night after night, I fervently prayed for deliverance, but it remained elusive. Then, a divine intervention unfolded as a young man and a woman of profound prayer arrived at our doorstep. Without room for debate, the young man commanded the evil spirit to depart in the name of Jesus. A miraculous healing unfolded before my eyes, and I arose from my bed, dressed and ready to embrace life anew.

“They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” – Mark 16:18

Even as the doctor predicted my demise, I defied expectations. I returned to work, a living testament to the transformative power of faith. Since that miraculous moment, the Lord has granted me the privilege of praying for countless others suffering from appendicitis witnessing their rapid recovery.

“Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” – Jeremiah 17:14

My journey from agony to victory stands as a testament to the living Christ, ever willing to meet us on every front. May this narrative serve as a beacon of hope, inspiring others to place unwavering trust in the transformative power of faith.

That same God is still at work today, and the authority to cast out devils and heal the sick has been given to every genuine believer of Jesus Christ!

I believe this is true, and if you would reach out in faith and let me pray for you, there will be a divine turnaround.

In Jesus’ Name, I pray and command that the devil to leave you and that you will be healed from your infirmities by the power of the Holy Ghost! Amen!
