Born Again and Destined to Win
Introduction
There is a lie many people live under without realizing it—the lie that life is fixed, that who you are today is all you will ever be. It whispers through failures, past mistakes, and present struggles: “This is just who you are.”
But the Gospel of Jesus Christ completely shatters that lie.
You were not created to remain the same.
You were created with the power to become.
And when a man is born again, he steps into a divine reality where change is not just possible—it is guaranteed by God Himself.
The Misunderstanding About Life
Many people approach life from a natural perspective:
They look at their background They measure their limitations They define themselves by past experiences
But God never designed your life to be determined by your past.
Your past may explain where you are,
but it does not have the authority to define where you are going.
The Miracle of the New Birth
The turning point of destiny is the new birth.
The Bible says:
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
This is not a motivational statement—it is a spiritual reality.
When you are born again:
You are not repaired—you are recreated You are not managed—you are transformed You are not upgraded—you are made new
God does not improve your old life.
He gives you an entirely new one.
You Have Received the Power to Become
The new birth is not just about a new identity—it comes with divine capacity.
The Bible says:
John 1:12 (KJV)
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
Notice that word: power.
This means:
You are not trying to become—you are empowered to become
You are not struggling for change—you have ability within you
You are not empty—you carry divine potential
There is something inside you now that was not there before Christ came into your life.
The Battle of Identity
After you are born again, one major battle begins—the battle of identity.
Your past will still try to speak.
Your environment will still try to define you.
The enemy will still try to remind you of who you used to be.
But the question is: Which voice will you believe?
The Bible declares:
Romans 8:37 (KJV)
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
You are not becoming a conqueror.
You are not working towards victory.
You are already more than a conqueror.
Victory is not your goal—it is your starting point.
Walking in the Reality of Who You Are
Being born again is the beginning—but walking in it is a choice.
To live as one who is created with the power to become:
You must renew your mind with the Word of God
You must reject every identity that contradicts Scripture
You must consistently declare who God says you are
You must act in alignment with your new nature
Transformation happens when revelation becomes your reality.
You Are Destined to Win
God never designed defeat as part of your destiny.
In Christ:
You are equipped You are empowered You are enabled
No matter where you are starting from, your end has already been settled in God—victory.
You may face challenges, but you are not defined by them.
You may go through battles, but you are not designed to lose them.
You are born again and destined to win.
Final Charge
Stop seeing yourself through the lens of your past.
Stop agreeing with limiting thoughts.
Stop talking like someone without power.
Begin to see yourself the way God sees you.
You are:
A new creation
A child of God
A carrier of divine power
You are not trying to become something great…
You were created with the power to become it.
