Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?
Have you ever experienced a moment so full of love that it changed your perspective on life? For Christians, these moments are not mere coincidences; they are divine encounters that remind us of the depth of God’s love. Whether it’s through His Word, His creation, or His people, God’s love is constant, real, and transformative.
Today, I want to share a few ways I’ve personally experienced God’s love and how you can encounter it, too.
Love That Saves Us
The greatest expression of God’s love is captured in one verse that echoes across time and eternity:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
This verse is more than just a promise; it’s the foundation of our faith. God’s love isn’t passive—it’s active. It moved Him to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, so we could have eternal life with Him.
This love is available to everyone. No matter your past mistakes, doubts, or struggles, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is proof that God loves you right where you are. He’s waiting with open arms, ready to forgive, restore, and embrace you as His child.
Love Through People
God often reveals His love through the kindness and care of others. I remember a time when I was struggling and feeling forgotten. I had prayed silently for help, and within hours, a friend reached out with an encouraging message, sharing a verse I had read earlier that morning.
That verse was Zephaniah 3:17:
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing.”
In that moment, I felt God’s presence so deeply. He used someone to remind me, “I see you, I hear you, and I love you.”
Love That Redeems Us
There was also a time when I felt weighed down by guilt. I had made mistakes and couldn’t imagine how God could still love me. But then I read Romans 5:8:
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
This truth broke through my shame. God’s love doesn’t depend on our perfection; it’s freely given even when we feel unworthy. That’s the kind of love that heals wounds, lifts burdens, and gives us hope.
Love in Creation
One evening, I witnessed a breathtaking sunset. As I watched the sky transform into hues of orange and purple, I felt overwhelmed by the beauty of it all. In that moment, I knew it was God whispering, “I created this for you. I love you.”
Psalm 19:1 says,
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.”
God’s love is written all around us. The world He created is a reflection of His care and creativity, reminding us daily of His goodness.
A Love That Calls Us
If you’ve ever longed to experience this love, the good news is that it’s already reaching out to you. God is inviting you into a relationship with Him—a relationship where His love will fill your heart, guide your steps, and transform your life.
Jesus said in Revelation 3:20:
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”
This is your moment to respond. God is knocking on the door of your heart, waiting for you to invite Him in.
A Call to Salvation
If you’ve never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today can be the day everything changes. God loves you more than you can imagine, and He’s offering you the gift of salvation—a new life in Christ and the promise of eternity with Him.
To receive this gift, all you need to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, as Romans 10:9 says:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
If you’re ready to take this step, pray this prayer from your heart:
Salvation Prayer:
“Dear God, I come to You today, recognizing that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Today, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me as I follow You. Thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and the gift of salvation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”
Welcome to God’s Family
If you prayed that prayer, congratulations! You are now a child of God. Heaven is rejoicing over your decision (Luke 15:7), and your life will never be the same.
I encourage you to read God’s Word daily, pray, and connect with a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith. God’s love is just the beginning—He has an incredible plan for your life.
Remember, you are deeply loved, endlessly valued, and eternally secure in Christ. Live in the fullness of that love, and let it inspire you to share it with others.
You are loved—always and forever.
