Finding Boundless Energy in Christ

What things give you energy?

In a world filled with hustle and bustle, where we often find ourselves drained and weary, it’s crucial to reflect on what truly energizes us. As Christians, our source of energy is deeply rooted in our faith, and the Bible provides us with profound insights on this matter.

Psalm 63:2 (TPT) declares, “I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory.” When we set aside time to enter God’s presence, to seek Him earnestly, we tap into a wellspring of divine energy. In the sanctuary of His love, our souls are refreshed and invigorated.

Philippians 2:13 (TPT) reminds us, “God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.” Our energy is not merely physical; it’s spiritual. God infuses us with the passion to fulfill His purposes, and this divine purpose becomes our driving force.

Colossians 1:11 (TPT) further reinforces this truth, stating, “For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.” In our journey, we face challenges, but Christ’s explosive power equips us to overcome them. It’s a supernatural energy that enables us to rise above circumstances.

Philippians 4:12-13 (TPT) beautifully summarizes this concept, “I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.”

So, what energizes us as Christians? It’s our time in God’s presence, our passion for His will, His explosive power, and the strength of Christ that infuses us. When we align our lives with His purpose and seek Him daily, we discover boundless energy to face life’s challenges and thrive in His grace. In Christ, we find the answer to what truly energizes us, for His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
