What motivates you?
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly motivates us. As a Christian, I have found my unwavering motivation through a deep connection with my faith. The Bible, a timeless source of wisdom, provides guidance and inspiration that fuels my journey. Let’s explore how specific verses have shaped my perspective and continue to drive me forward.
1. **Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me:**
This verse serves as a reminder that we are not alone in our endeavors. With God’s strength, there are no limits to what we can achieve. Whenever doubts arise, I recall this verse and draw upon the infinite source of strength that comes from my relationship with Christ.
2. **Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord: plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future:**
In moments of uncertainty, this verse offers solace. Knowing that God has a purpose for me and that His plans are for my good provides an enduring motivation to push forward, even when challenges arise.
3. **Romans 8:28 – And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose:**
Life’s hardships can often lead us astray, but this verse assures us that God is always working for our benefit. This promise sustains my motivation, allowing me to view challenges as opportunities for growth and refinement.
