We ought to be encouraged to bring our requests and concerns to God in prayer, to trust in His strength and guidance, and to commit our plans and work to Him. When we pray before an exam, we acknowledge our dependence on God and invite Him to be with us. Additionally, God promises to give us what we ask for, and we can trust that He will guide and direct us in our studies and exams if we seek Him with a humble and open heart.

It is also a way to acknowledge our dependence on God and invite Him into our exam preparation and performance.
