The Lord Our Protector, Our Keeper

The words of Psalm 121:7-8 provide comfort and reassurance that the Lord is our protector and keeper. As the one who created the mountains, seas, and stars, the Lord will safeguard us from all evil and watch over our every move.

In times of trouble or uncertainty, it can be easy to feel alone or lost. However, these verses remind us that we are never alone, as God is always with us.

Furthermore, Deuteronomy 31:8 states, “It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” We can take comfort in knowing that the Lord is always leading the way and providing protection, even in the face of adversity.

Additionally, Isaiah 41:10 provides further reassurance, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

These words remind us that the Lord is not only our protector but also our source of strength and support.

No matter what challenges we may face, we can trust in the Lord to provide us with the strength and help we need to overcome them.

Even when we leave this world and enter eternity, we can trust that God will continue to be with us. Revelation 21:4 says, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

This promise assures us that God’s protection and care extend beyond our time on earth and into eternity.

Therefore, as we go about our daily lives, we can take heart in the knowledge that the Lord is with us every step of the way.

As Psalm 46:1 declares, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” No matter what life may throw our way, we can find safety and strength in the Lord. So let us put our trust in Him as our protector and keeper, both in this life and beyond.
