A Personal Journey of Transformation

Describe one positive change you have made in your life.

Dear readers,

I want to share with you a personal journey of transformation that has changed my life completely. It all started when I made the decision to be born again and live every day as an ambassador of Christ. This decision has brought me so much joy, peace, and purpose, and I want to encourage you to consider this positive change for yourself.

In John 3:3-5, Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This statement confused Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a ruler of the Jews, who asked Jesus how one could be born again. Jesus explained that to be born again means to be born of water and the Spirit. Baptism symbolises our spiritual rebirth, and the Holy Spirit enables us to live a new life in Christ.

I can attest to the fact that being born again has brought about a significant change in my life. I have a renewed sense of purpose and meaning, and my relationship with God has become more intimate. I have also discovered a deeper sense of peace, even in difficult circumstances, because I know that God is with me and that He is in control.

Living as an ambassador of Christ means that I am called to represent Him in everything I do. In 2 Corinthians 5:20, Paul writes, “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you, on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” As an ambassador of Christ, I am called to love others as He loves me, to forgive as He forgives, and to serve as He serves.

One of the ways I live as an ambassador of Christ is by sharing the Gospel with others. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus gave the Great Commission, saying, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” I believe that sharing the message of salvation is one of the most important things we can do as followers of Christ.

Another way I live as an ambassador of Christ is by loving others as He loves me. In John 13:34-35, Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.” I believe that when we love others as Christ loves us, we demonstrate His character and reflect His grace to those around us.

In conclusion, being born again and living every day as an ambassador of Christ has been a positive change in my life. It has brought me closer to God, given me a sense of purpose, and enabled me to love others more fully.

I encourage you to consider making this positive change in your life as well. As Paul writes in Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” May this be our prayer and our commitment as we live for Him each day.

The Message Bearer, Cornelius Bella
