The Pulls In The Spirit

The Pulls in the Spirit:

There are different pulls in the spirit, and you must know how best to respond to them.

1. The pull of the Father.

Respond positively to the pull of God the Father to come into His presence. There is a drawing in the spirit of hunger and thirst for God that one must respond to.

Psalm 42:1-2 KJV – As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Hebrews 4:16 AMP – Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favour] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].

Psalm 16:11 KJV – Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand, there are pleasures for evermore.

2. The pull of your destiny.

Romans 8:14 KJV – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

John 14:26 KJV – But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Holy Spirit does the work of leading you into your divine destiny. He will teach you what to do to make it in destiny.

If you allow the Holy Spirit to cease from being your teacher, the consequences of that action become the replacement.

Romans 8:27 TPT – God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.

When your destiny harmonises or aligns with your Divine purpose, life will not be a struggle but a ride for you.

John 16:13 AMPC – But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit), comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].

It doesn’t matter how many wrong steps you have taken. When you submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, Your life begins to change from the next correct step.

Isaiah 30:21 EXB – If you go the wrong way—to the right or to the left—you will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the right way. ·You should go this way [Walk in it].

3. The pull of love.

Songs of Solomon 8:4 KJV – I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love until he, please.

Song of Solomon 8:4 EXB – Women [ Daughters] of Jerusalem
promise [I adjure you] not to awaken
or excite [arouse] love until it ·is ready [so desires; a warning to wait for love until the right person comes along].

There is a level of growth and maturity needed to be able to handle the pull of love. There is a readiness one must have so one can ride on the waves of love rather than being swallowed up by the same waves.

Young men, and young women, don’t awaken love or allow anyone to awaken it in you until you are ready and it is the right person!

4. The pull of the ancestry.

1 Kings 15:3 KJV – And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God…

Proverbs 14:12 KJV – There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 14:12 The Voice – Before every person lies a road that seems to be right, but the end of that road is death and destruction.

It comes when a young man or woman begins to desire a thing that will move them to destruction.

It’s not everything in your ancestry that is negative, but where your Calling conflicts with your ancestry, you must prioritise your Calling.

2 Timothy 1:4-6 AMP – and as I recall your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy. I remember your sincere and unqualified faith [the surrendering of your entire self to God in Christ with confident trust in His power, wisdom and goodness, a faith] which first lived in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am confident that it is in you as well. That is why I remind you to fan into flame the gracious gift of God, [that inner fire—the special endowment] which is in you through the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination].

5. The pull of sin to do evil.

Psalm 36:1-4 KJV – The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Galatians 5:17-24 AMP – For the sinful nature has its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the [desire of the] Spirit opposes the sinful nature; for these [two, the sinful nature and the Spirit] are in direct opposition to each other [continually in conflict] so that you [as believers] do not [always] do whatever [good things] you want to do. But if you are guided and led by the Spirit, you are not subject to the Law. Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control), idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], envy, drunkenness, riotous behaviour, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the [sinful nature together with its passions and appetites.

2 Corinthians 6:13-15 ERV – I speak to you as if you were my children. Do the same as we have done—open your hearts also. You are not the same as those who don’t believe. So don’t join yourselves to them. Good and evil don’t belong together. Light and darkness cannot share the same room. How can there be any unity between Christ and the devil? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

6. The pull of prophecy.

You cannot rewrite prophecy. Have you read where the Bible says this was done to fulfil what a Prophet said?

Acts 2:16 KJV – But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel

Hosea 12:10 KJV – I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

1 Timothy 1:17-18 KJV – Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

Prophecy locates every inaccuracy in your life and pulls you into accuracy.

#Prayer 1: The Prophecy over your life will raise a man to become something for your sake.

#Prayer 2: The pull of divine prophecy will begin to pull the wrong things out of place and put the right things in place in your life.

In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
