Serve God With Passion

Dearly beloved,

God placed in my heart this morning that some are losing their passion for doing the work He has given them to do. And face the danger of disconnecting from divine flows.

Please understand that God would have us passionately serving Him and nothing lesser. He wants us hot for Him, not cold; if we are cold, we are disconnected from Him, and if we are lukewarm, we become distasteful to Him.

“I know all that you do, and I know that you are neither frozen in apathy nor fervent with passion. How I wish you were either one or the other! But because you are neither cold nor hot, but lukewarm, I am about to spit you from my mouth.” – Revelation 3:15-16 TPT

When you lose passion for God’s work, your honour and love for God become questionable.

Let this be a warning for us and also an encouragement. So we realign ourselves. God is a serious God, and He takes you as seriously as you take Him.

If, for any reason, you have lost passion for God’s work, repent and rekindle your passion – the Holy Spirit will help you. Give God due honour and love. He deserves your best.

You never want to be disconnected when you need divine flow in live situations.

God is not mocked; He knows us, and He is well aware of matters in our hearts. He knows when we give Him priority and use Him like a spare tyre.

God is a rewarder, but you must give Him what is rewardable – is your service to God rewardable – are you an employee in God’s Kingdom worthy of divine recompense?

Do you have love and honour for God for real?!

Beloved people of God. Put your heart and soul into every activity as though you are doing it for the Lord himself (indeed you are) – you are not just serving to please your Pastor, and yes, your Pastor should be happy with you but is God also pleased with you – not serving merely for the sake of it, but serving as one conscious of God and the honour and love that is due Him.

What can we do that is greater or more than what we can do for God?!

Please read and meditate on the scripture below:

“Let every employee listen well and follow the instructions of their employer, not just when their employers are watching, and not in pretence, but faithful in all things, for we are to live our lives with pure hearts in the constant awe and wonder of our Lord God. Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others. For we know that we will receive a reward, an inheritance from the Lord, as we serve the Lord Yahweh, the Anointed One! – Colossians 3:22-24 TPT

So don’t allow your heart to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm.

“For God, the Faithful One, is not unfair. How can he forget the beautiful work you have done for him? He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually serve his beloved ones for the glory of his name.” – Hebrews 6:10 TPT
