Make Your Life A Prayer

A blessed day to you, and how is your prayer life?

Truth be told, if you do not have a prayer life, you will have a worried life.

Below are a collection of scriptures that I believe are to help someone reading this to break free from the life of worrying into a life of praying. And as you make that transition, solutions will replace problems; ease will replace hardship, and joy will replace sorrow in Jesus’ Name.

“Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life,” Philippians 4:6 TPT

“O God in Zion, to you even silence is praise! You who answers prayer, all of humanity comes before you with their requests.” Psalms 65:1-2 TPT

“Make your life a prayer.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 TPT

“But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done.” John 15:7 TPT

“ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).” Luke 18:1 AMPC

“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. Romans 8:26 TPT

“Jesus replied, “Let the faith of God be in you! Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’ and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—be convinced that you have received it and it will be yours.” Mark 11:22-24 TPT

“Are there any believers in your fellowship suffering great hardship and distress? Encourage them to pray! Are there happy, cheerful ones among you? Encourage them to sing out their praises!” James (Jacob) 5:13 TPT

“Is anyone among you afflicted (ill-treated, suffering evil)? He should pray. Is anyone glad at heart? He should sing praise [to God].” James 5:13 AMPC

“Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out. James 5:13-15 MSG

“This is what I want you to do: Ask the Father for whatever is in keeping with the things I’ve revealed to you. Ask in my name, according to my will, and he’ll most certainly give it to you. Your joy will be a river overflowing its banks!” John 16:23b-24 MSG

“Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 MSG

Up until now and in the days ahead, prayer remains vital. Depending on the direction we lean towards faith or towards fear – it will be evidenced by a prayer life or a worried life.

Lean on God in faith and let your prayer life blossom. The devil will do whatever he can to stop you from praying, but we are not ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). Meditate on the scriptures above. Let a fresh Grace and unction come upon you to pray 🙏 without giving up! Make your life a prayer!
