This statement:
“Go in the Strength of the Lord!” came to my heart for my wife this morning, so I checked the Bible…read, and meditated on the following words:
Psalm 71:16 KJV
“I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”
I also encountered the Hymn below that I am very sure will bless someone, read it slowly, line by line and let it resound in your spirit:
“I’ll go in the strength of the Lord.”
Author: Edward Turney
I’ll go in the strength of the Lord,
In paths He has marked for my feet;
I’ll follow the light of His word,
Nor shrink from the dangers I meet.
His presence my steps shall attend,
His fulness my wants shall supply;
On Him, till my journey shall end,
My unwavering faith shall rely.
I’ll go, I’ll go in the strength,
I’ll go in the strength of the Lord,
I’ll go, I’ll go in the strength,
I’ll go in the strength of the Lord.
I’ll go in the strength of the Lord
To work He appoints me to do;
In joy which His smile doth afford
My soul shall her vigour renew.
His wisdom shall guard me from harm,
His power my sufficiency prove;
I’ll trust His omnipotent arm,
And prove His unchangeable love.
I’ll go in the strength of the Lord
To conflicts which faith will require,
His grace as my shield and reward,
My courage and zeal shall inspire.
Since He gives the word of command,
To meet and encounter the foe,
With His sword of truth in my hand,
To suffer and triumph I’ll go.
I would like you to please meditate upon the scriptures below:
Deuteronomy 31:6, 8 AMPC
“Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit–depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].”
Psalms 68:1-3 TPT
“God! Arise with awesome power, and every one of your enemies will scatter in fear! Chase them away—all these God-haters. Blow them away as a puff of smoke. Melt them away like wax in the fire. One good look at you and the wicked vanish. But let all the righteous be glad! Yes, let them all rejoice in your presence and be carried away with gladness. Let them laugh and be radiant with joy!”
2 Thessalonians 1:6 EASY
“God will punish those people who are causing trouble for you. He will cause trouble for them. That is right and fair.”
Exodus 14:14 AMPC
“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.”
Philippians 4:7 AMP
“And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-19, 22 TPT
“Let joy be your continual feast. Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. Avoid every appearance of evil.”
Romans 8:27-28 TPT
“God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny. So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.”
And that is it for now…
Have an Anointed day in Jesus’ Name.
