Some things happen in Church that do not happen anywhere else. Some things happen to a child of God – Born-again – that others cannot experience because they are not in a vital union with God through Christ Jesus.
As a child of God, your attitude and practice in the Church – corporate gathering would and should reflect in your private walk with Him.
Show me somebody, that is disciplined and conscious of the presence of God in a public gathering, he would and should carry it into his private life with God.
Increase your confession of the word of God. Watch the words of your mouth. Your words affect your spirit-man like a control knob affects the air conditioner.
One of the things the devil attacks the most is the confession of the word of God. He does not really attack people reading the Bible.
If all you are doing is reading the Bible, you are no major threat to the devil, but when you start confessing the word of God and acting on the word of God – that is what the devil cannot stand.
Confession of the word of God does not first affect your atmosphere; it affects your spirit.
Watch out the devil would rather you don’t confess God’s word and if you begin to speak the wrong word, it kills and deadens your spirit.
One more thing fast regularly. Fasting affects the sharpness and sensitivity of your spirit-man. A life of no fasting will be a life that is not very sensitive.
As you read and study your Bible, confessing and acting on God’s word…You move from the devil’s oppression to operations of the Holy Spirit! You move from the resistance of hell to the assistance of heaven!
