I believe that song is still relevant today and for the days ahead.

“But I have trusted, leaned on, and been confident in Your mercy and loving-kindness; my heart shall rejoice and be in high spirits in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.”

In the place of prayer, we can recite in the hearing of God our Father whatever our need is, but we must do it in faith – be persuaded that God exists, that He loves us, and He is more than able to do what He has said He would do. We can hold Him to His word – the Scripture (Bible) and that which His Spirit reveals.
“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”

“But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV
We must never be oblivious or ignorant of the devices of the adversary – the opposition. Whenever the devil tries to offer us fear and doubt in the place of faith, we must rise in the Spirit immediately-automatically and take authority over and against him. The battle of the mind is real; don’t entertain nor permit any demonic lies in your thinking. Pray in the Spirit – the Holy Spirit will lift up a standard against the enemy.
There is a Biblical prescription for what we ought to be thinking about; anything contrary must be vigorously and perpetually refuted:
“For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honourable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].”

There is a Godly living that brings pleasure to God, and it should pattern our lifestyle:
“But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart. Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.”

It is God’s reality for every one of us, His children to walk in victory by faith and the leading of the Holy Spirit
