Do Joy Again and Again!

Happy new month to you and family.

Beloved, there are 2 Kingdoms, the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness.

The Bible talks about the Kingdom of God:

Romans 14:17 King James Version “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Conversely, the kingdom of darkness is not righteousness but unrighteousness-sinfulness, it is not peace but trouble and chaos, and it is not joy but hopelessness, sorrow and damnation.

This month you must be sure which kingdom you belong to because it will determine your experience.

It is very accurate that if you are not saved (born-again), you cannot experience nor enter into the Kingdom of God – You cannot experience or access righteousness, peace and Joy.

John 3:3, 7, 16-19 AMP “Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” Do not be surprised that I have told you, ‘You must be born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].’ “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.”

Pardon me, I intended to share on Joy, but I know by experience and life that you cannot make yourself Joyful outside God – the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So what is Joy?

First and foremost Joy is not happiness.

Joy is a continuous supernatural experience – it is a peaceful assurance in God’s faithfulness and extravagant love and the perpetual delight in God in His plans, purposes, His people and His things.

Joy comes only from God alone. It is connected to the Living God hence why it is always alive and energised.

Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit of God.

Galatians 5:22 King James Version “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…”

Have you ever sensed God at work in you or seen His evident hand in a situation and knew in your heart of hearts that God did that?

Have you ever stood on a moonlit night by the shore looking up into space, or on top of a mountain looking down below at the splendour and beauty, and you are in awe of God, sensing your spirit desiring to worship the God who made it all?

What you felt in that moment was joy in who God is.

Have you ever been in a worship service where with one loud voice, you felt caught up in proclaiming the awesome majesty of God?

Something divine and wonderful is happening inside you, and it’s more than mere happiness which is controlled by situations and circumstances —it’s the Joy of the Lord!

Happiness is temporary, but if you are in the Kingdom of God, you can do Joy always – do Joy again and again.

Philippians 4:4 AMP “Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again, I will say, rejoice!”

Have a #JoyfulNewMonth
