Connect To The Power Of God

Connect to the Power of God

Once something is genuinely connected to God’s power, it will eventually work.

Your faith is the connector.

Hebrews 11:1-2 AMP

11 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. 2 For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval.

Romans 4:18-21 KJV

18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Natural hope is affected by the passage of time, is attacked by the devil, it can die. Faith operates in the realm of supernatural hope, this hope that does not fail, it is not affected not afflicted by the passage of time. It does not give up. It cannot die.

Your faith in God and persistence in the place of prayer, in the confession of the word, demonstrates your persuasion.

The devil’s power is beneath and powerless when compared with the power of God – The Authority we have in Christ is far above all of satan’s power put together (Ephesians 1:21-22).

Satan is relentless, and he masters in wearing people out – so he can have an opportunity. When he tempted Jesus, he did not have a go at him only once, he did it again and again, but glory be to God every time he did, Jesus gave a superior response. Satan lost and turned tail (Matthew 4: 1-11).

For you and I, children of God born-again, Spirit-filled and led, satan’s operations against us is designed to fail. Surely they shall gather, but because Greater is He that is in us (1 John 4:4) and more are they that are with us (2 Kings 6:16) the adversary will fall for our sake in Jesus Name (Isaiah 54:15). We overcome the adversary through the blood of Jesus and the words of our testimony (Revelations 12:11).

We will win if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9 LEB

9 And let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give up.

Satan wants you to believe your spiritual activity is too much so that you will slow down. He attacks relentlessly with weariness to weaken a person in the place of prayer. But do you know who your spiritual activity is too much for? – the same satan. He does not like being dominated but that is his problem not ours.

The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

James 5:16b AMPC

When we pray in faith fervently (with importunity, persistence, persuasion), tremendous power is generated working a dynamo in the spirit; the is devil restricted, his operations are bound, pushed back and destroyed. Amen!
