Never say these words again “I am done praying!”
For a Christian to say, “I am done praying” indicates a broken relationship with the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, a separation from the divine, and exposure to and an embrace of the demonic.
For a Christian to say I am done praying is to say I am done breathing, I am done being alive.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 TPT – Make your life a prayer.
Let every breath you take be accompanied with prayer. Let your autoresponse to any life situation be a prayer, not you swearing and cussing: that leaves you alone with your problem and invites a demon to blind your mind, so you see no way out.
Prayer is inviting the divine into the matter. It clarifies your faith stance that you have a God that loves and cares about you, He is All-powerful, nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:17), and nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37).
Luke 18:1 AMP – [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).
Reading the scripture above one can say a coward is one that does not pray and you would be a coward if you faint, lose heart or give up in the place of prayer.
A coward is the one that says, “I am done praying!” – are you a coward?
I hope not.
Prayer is not a means of coercing God to do what we want as some think it to be, and when that is not working, they become frustrated. Instead, prayer is a process of recognising His power and plan for our lives. In prayer, we yield our lives and circumstances to the Lord and trust absolutely (with faith) in Him to act in His time and in His way. As we rely on God’s grace not only for the outcome of our requests but for the process as well, we can keep coming to the Lord in prayer, trusting His wisdom and care for us.
Courageous and wise Christians have continuous dependability on God and will always seize every opportunity to pray in faith – to invite God on the scene and into the matter because they know that God can do what no man can do.
I may not know what is going on; instead of acting confused and lost, I pray.
I may not have a ready solution to the issue before me; instead of developing a headache, I pray.
Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV – Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I may not know why there is a delay to what I have been waiting for; instead of giving up, I pray.
I will pray and not stop because the Holy Spirit is interceding on my behalf.
Romans 8:27 TPT – 27 God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.
I will keep praying because I have Jesus Christ as my advocate before the Father.
Romans 8:34 KJV – Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
I have decided to make my life a prayer, how about you?
