Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

Jesus says, Come to Me, all… everyone is invited, including you. Only He has the power to ease, relieve and refresh our souls.

1 Peter 5:7 AMPC

Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

This is a great invitation from Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of Lords. But we have to decide to respond. It’s up to us to choose to draw the line and say, enough is enough; to a heavy-ladened and overburdened life by saying YES to Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ICB

If anyone belongs to Christ, then he is made new. The old things have gone; everything is made new!

#newyearnewme the reality of this great transformation if one responds to the invitation of Jesus is cumulated in you belonging to Jesus Christ, how you may ask?

Romans 10:9-10 Expanded Bible

If you ·declare [confess] with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. [For] We believe with our hearts, and so we ·are made right with God [are justified; receive righteousness]. And we ·declare [confess] with our mouths, ·and so we are saved [leading to salvation].

Then Pray this prayer:

Father, I come to you in the Name of Jesus. I know that I’m a sinner and cannot save myself. But Jesus died for me; He shed His blood that I might be saved; today, I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and saviour, forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood and make me whole. I forsake the devil, the world and all sinful habits; I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Father, I thank you because you have saved me in Jesus name. Amen.
