God always gives us the opportunity to learn more and more about Him. To the extent to which we have a revelation of Him, can we truly and safely walk with God and God with us.
Coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].
1 John 4:7b AMPC
God is very serious about His integrity. That we know Him to be faithful stems from His integrity.
If we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2:13 AMP
If we claim to be children of God, then integrity must also characterise us as it does our Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Below are my favourite Bible verses on integrity and I would love to share them with you.
I am sure you will be blessed as you read and meditate on them.
There should be a consistency that runs through us all. For Jesus doesn’t change—yesterday, today, tomorrow, he’s always totally himself.
Hebrews 13:8 MSG
Oh, let me be weighed in a just balance and let Him weigh me, that God may know my integrity! If my step has turned out of [God’s] way, and my heart has gone the way my eyes [covetously] invited, and if any spot has stained my hands with guilt,
Job 31:6-7 AMPC
Investigate my life, O God, find out everything about me; Cross-examine and test me, get a clear picture of what I’m about; See for yourself whether I’ve done anything wrong— then guide me on the road to eternal life.
Psalm 139:23-24 MSG
He who walks in integrity and with moral character walks securely, But he who takes a crooked way will be discovered and punished.
Proverbs 10:9 AMP
The integrity and moral courage of the upright will guide them, But the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them.
Proverbs 11:3 AMP
I won’t speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this dark world is coming. But he has no power over me, for he has nothing to use against me.
John 14:30 TPT
[And see to it that] your conscience is entirely clear (unimpaired), so that, when you are falsely accused as evildoers, those who threaten you abusively and revile your right behavior in Christ may come to be ashamed [of slandering your good lives]. For [it is] better to suffer [unjustly] for doing right, if that should be God’s will, than to suffer [justly] for doing wrong.
1 Peter 3:16-17 AMPC
I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]
John 14:30 AMPC
The vice-regents and governors got together to find some old scandal or skeleton in Daniel’s life that they could use against him, but they couldn’t dig up anything. He was totally exemplary and trustworthy. They could find no evidence of negligence or misconduct. So they finally gave up and said, “We’re never going to find anything against this Daniel unless we can cook up something religious.”
Daniel 6:4-5 MSG
The righteous man who walks in integrity and lives life in accord with his [godly] beliefs— How blessed [happy and spiritually secure] are his children after him [who have his example to follow].
Proverbs 20:7 AMP
