Test Every Spirit

If not that God had already warned of and revealed certain things through the Bible and the Holy Spirit, maybe I would cringe at things I hear and see happen in unexpected places.

I find that anyone I am unsettled in my spirit about, even if it is a titled man, I would later find out that indeed they are not of God. It is through the word of God and the Holy Spirit that you can and should test all spirits.

1 John 4:1
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
Beloved, do not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

For every genuine divine from God, there is a false of it from the devil.

I read today of a perpetrator of evil, a titled prophet, as it was sad to read the truth remains that nothing is a surprise to God.  As He is wise and loving, so also is He Just.

For the perpetrators of evil, there is divine Judgement, and for the victims, there is a Balm in Gilead – divine healing – God will give them double for their troubles and better replacements.

See what God said in Jeremiah 23:1-4
(New Living Translation)
23 “What sorrow awaits the leaders of my people—the shepherds of my sheep—for they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were expected to care for,” says the Lord.
2 Therefore, this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to these shepherds: “Instead of caring for my flock and leading them to safety, you have deserted them and driven them to destruction. Now I will pour out judgment on you for the evil you have done to them.
3 But I will gather together the remnant of my flock from the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their own sheepfold, and they will be fruitful and increase in number. 4 Then I will appoint responsible shepherds who will care for them, and they will never be afraid again. Not a single one will be lost or missing. I, the Lord, have spoken!

The Lord is our Shepherd (Psalm 23), and through the Chief-shepherd (1 Peter 5:4), He gave us under-shepherds, but not all whom we call shepherds in our day proceed from God. The Lord knows those who are His.

2 Timothy 2:19
New Living Translation
19 But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.”

2 Corinthians 2:11
American Standard Version
11 that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Matthew 7:15
King James Version
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

We are not ignorant of the devil’s devices to turn people away from the infallible God by crossing their path with fallible men: wolves in sheep’s clothing.

May God continue to expose such and set the solitary in a true Church family under divinely ordained pastors in Jesus Name.

Psalm 68:6
King James Version
6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

I love my Church family, and I am grateful to God for His shepherds that He has given my sheepfold.

This is what God has said concerning every victim of false shepherds “divine deliverance, divine relocation and better replacement – your latter days will be better than your past.”

“I will bring them back to their own sheepfold, and they will be fruitful and increase in number. Then I will appoint responsible shepherds who will care for them, and they will never be afraid again. Not a single one will be lost or missing. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

Amen, so it is.
