No Not My Wife

A blessed day to you, beloved of Christ.

As a Christian, you need to know that there are several advantages to being a child of God; knowing what God has said about you and being persuaded of the same. Concerning any matter or question you may have or maybe asked, do not delay going to the scriptures. What God says about any matter stands, and the word of God is spoken to you so you can speak it too.

No, Not My Wife!

Someone posted on Facebook asking,
‘What will be your Reactions if a King Says, “Emi Oba………gbese le iyawo e” I lay claim on your wife – will you accept or not?”
Men only should answer.’

My response:

Daniel 3:16
O king, I am not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Matthew 19:6
My wife and I are not two people anymore, but we are one person. Man (a king is a man) must not separate what God has joined together.’

Proverbs 21:1
All kings are subject to God. No King can claim to be greater than God.

Furthermore

Psalm 105:14
God will not let anyone oppress me. God punishes kings for my sake.

Isaiah 45:1
This is what the Lord has said to me, His anointed one, whose right hand He empowers.
Before me, mighty kings will be paralysed with fear.
Their fortress gates will be opened,
never to shut again.

No king would care to sign his own death warrant.

Genesis 20:3
3 God came to a king in a dream one night and said to him, “You’re going to die because of the woman that you’ve taken! She’s a married woman!”

By reason of covenant of marriage and by the backing of God Almighty, any king who dares make the statement saying, ‘I lay claim on your wife’ will forfeit his throne and his life. And so shall it be!
