What you are about to read came as divinely inspired thoughts, personal reflections and meditations on faith and the Holy Spirit according to God’s word.
Hebrews 11:6
Amplified Bible
6 But without faith, it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.
Hebrews 4:2
Darby Translation
2 For indeed we have had glad tidings presented to us, even as they also; but the word of the report did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard.
To build a life that pleases God, it must be done on the foundation of faith in God, and it is not the only foundation, but the very building and how we build must be with faith.
We have access to God through Christ Jesus cannot be thoroughly enjoyed if faith is excluded.
Romans 10:17
King James Version
17 So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 12:3
King James Version
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according to as God hath dealt with every man the measure of faith.
God gives us a measure of faith to start us off at salvation, and by hearing the word of God, our faith increases in measure; it matures through confession of the word of God; however, not until we apply our faith in action would really the full impact and evidence of it be seen in our lives.
Taking your prayer life seriously as a believer praying in faith with understanding supplied through God’s word and praying in the Spirit (personal and corporately). It goes a long way in the training of our faith.
John 14:26
Amplified Bible
26 But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is vital for victorious Christian living; we must consciously respond to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Check this against how obedient we are to divine instructions?
Romans 8:14
King James Version
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God; they are the sons of God.
The qualification to be a child of God begins at salvation. The establishment of that new identity in all that God also gave us through Christ Jesus is found in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and our submission to His leadership.
Romans 8:31-33
New Living Translation
31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
Jude 20
Amplified Bible
20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit.
Our proper engagement with the Holy Spirit further strengthens and builds our faith.
Romans 9:15
King James Version
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Hebrews 10:38
King James Version
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Are you living by just the mercy of God or by faith? It is our expression of faith that pleases God. A believer refusing to live by faith – is regression in the spirit – it is one moving away from God in a backwards direction. Such do not and cannot please God.
God does not want us to live life from crisis to mercy to crisis to mercy. But from faith to faith. Rising higher and higher like an edifice.
The Anointing upon the anointed is an aid to us – but not a replacement for our faith, not an excuse for us not to grow in faith by the application of faith.
The truthful application of faith can get for you what the anointing can give. Your consistent application of faith will qualify you for the anointing approval from God.
A son or daughter of God is not expected to depend only on the mercy of God. He/she has been given Grace through Christ, the measure of faith, the Help of the Holy Spirit – so depending on mercy alone is a sign of stunted growth.
Any Christian that is not taking his/her divine destiny training and processing seriously – not fighting the fight of faith will always find himself/herself falling back on mercy… And a falling back is not progressing. God wants us to rise to rise to rise in faith.
Finally,
1 Timothy 6:12
King James Version
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Remain blessed.
