You Can Please God

Hebrews 11:6
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
6 But without faith, it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

Truly there is no other way to please God except through our faith. But do you know that through Christ Jesus in you, it is not difficult. The first expression of our faith is when we receive Jesus into our heart.

Romans 10: 9-10 requires faith. It is the beginning of pleasing God.

Romans 10:9-10
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God). With the mouth, he confesses (says openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

But God does not then leave us to it; He continues to help us to please Him. He gives us an ongoing passion for doing what pleases Him.

Philippians 2:13 TPT
God will continually revitalise you, implanting within you the passion for doing what pleases Him.

When you find that you are losing the passion for doing things that please God, you have probably moved away from the help of God, and Satan is about to set you up for a terrible downfall.

Another reason why people lose the passion for doing things that please God is when they are relying on their strength and not God’s.

If you are leaning on God – remaining in a vital relationship with Him; He energises you, the power and desire to please Him blossoms in you. You are continually under the divine radar of God to be blessed and favoured.

Philippians 2:13 AMPC
[Not in your strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energising and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.

God is not in the business of making life difficult for us, but satan is.

John 10:10
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

God loves us.

John 3:16
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) He shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

And for us to fully enjoy the full extent of God’s eternal love through Christ Jesus, we must live, function and have our identity in God. Amen!

Acts 17:28a TPT
It is through him that we live and function and have our identity.
