Psalm 32:8 AMPC
I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
God is a God of instructions, and those who do well with God are instructed, people.
Instructions are for our profiting, and how we respond will determine how profitable we are with those instructions.
There are consequences to disobedience to instructions. Immediate or in the future.
One who practices disobedience to instructions moves himself or herself outside God’s will, out of Grace and such is only kept by mercy for a while.
Mercy keeps such away from an impending judgement – given him/her the opportunity to repent.
1 Samuel 15:22 AMP
Samuel said, “Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
As in obedience to the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed [is better] than the fat of rams.
God and the devil puts a mark on the disobedient. The devil will seek an occasion to steal, kill and destroy and same (accuser) would also press God for judgement against the disobedient.
There are inevitable consequences that some are currently dealing with caused by the disobedience that they have not repented from. The prayer of the unrepentant-disobedient will never avail much before God.
The unrepentant disobedient will always struggle with obedience. And their disobedience will continue to reduce them.
One who continues on the path of disobedience will eventually end up in sudden destruction or death.
Proverbs 14:12 King James Version
12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
There is a way, not God’s way, in defiance, stubbornness, pride…that seems right to a disobedient man/woman, but the end thereof is destruction.
God tests a man in the area of obedience, and it is those who pass the test that He will commit precious things to. The obedient are blessed and favoured by God. Their prayers are melodic tunes in the hearing of God, and He is quick to respond to them.
Psalm 1:1-2 King James Version
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the disobedient, nor stands in the path of disobedience, nor sits in the seat of the rebellious.
Romans 9:15 King James Version
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
God is a merciful God, indeed and He will have mercy on whom He would have Mercy.
If you are currently working in disobedience, you must repent quickly and start practising obedience until it becomes your nature. The nature that pleases God.
There are so many chances that the defiant or disobedient might have, so the sooner they correct themselves, the better.
