I cannot but give glory to God for my father, Rev. Olusola Ayodele Areogun. My Spiritual growth and my advancement in life can be attributed to his faithfulness and obedience to God’s sure calling upon his life.
What you are about to read is from seating under his teaching and early morning divine communications.
Christianity is not about doing your best – but rather doing the will of God.
It is not our giftedness that brings the blessing it is His anointing.
Do what God anoints.
What is God’s mood for you – are you under His frown or under His smile?
Galatians 6:7-9
King James Version
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
Are you entirely sold out to God or some parts of your life remain under your personal management?
Do you do things your own way until you get stuck and then want God to have His way?
Who or what are you giving your best to?
What or who is deciding your acts, actions, attitude, approach…?
The blessed do blessable things – are your thinking, communications and actions blessable?
One who would go far in God must stay close to and remain in God – where do you think you are and where is God where you are?
Do you have a sure and settled relationship with God that is driving you forward in life or are just following the crowd?
Are you truly a sheep, friend and lover of God and his family in Christ Jesus or an enemy within the sheepfold? A goat, wolf, snake…
Genesis 17:1
King James Version
17 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Philippians 2:12
King James Version
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
God told my Father in the Lord this, “that at the end of all of this what is waiting for everyone is either a crown or a cry”…
Psalm 139:23-24
King James Version
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Who is your example in the ministry?
Who are you an example to?
What sort of example are you to them?
John 17:19
Amplified Bible
19 For their sake, I sanctify Myself [to do Your will], so that they also may be blessed [set apart, dedicated, made holy] in [You’re] truth.
Separate from and separate unto…
God does not ask you to do your best as defined by you – He asks you to do His will.
Romans 12:1-3
Amplified Bible
12 Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
3 For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to every one of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to consider to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose-designed for service].
Psalm 51:6-13
King James Version
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
