*Be in right standing with God
1. Be born-again

2. Be baptized in the Holy Ghost.

And Peter answered them, Repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
3. Be led by the Holy Spirit

For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
4. Let the Bible – the word of God be the final say. Read it, Study it, Meditate upon it, Memorize it, Apply it and Act on it. (R.S.M.M.A.A)

– Understand that you get better at praying to God by praying to God. Pray diligently and consistently.

*God wants you and I to pray. Praying is to our benefit. God is pleased when we His children pray.
