Miracles are a demonstration of the merciful nature of God. It is fully a Divine Donation. Miracles are supernatural impositions of the Divine on the ordinary, normal or usual.
When you are in the Grace of God His mercy is part of the package.
Romans 8:32 New International Version (NIV)
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Because you are enjoying the mercies of God does not mean you are in His Grace.
Romans 9:15-19 New King James Version (NKJV)
15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” 18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
For those who are in the Grace of God. Those who have received salvation through believing and confessing Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Romans 4:7-8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
7 Blessed and happy and [a]to be envied are those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried.
8 Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will take no account nor reckon it against him.
James 4:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
2 Kings 2:19-22 New International Version (NIV)
Healing of the Water.
19 The people of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”
20 “Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.
21 Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’”
22 And the water has remained pure to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken.
Luke 5:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
1 Corinthians 12:9 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
9 To another [[a]wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit;
James 5:15 AMPC
15 And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
When healing is recieved has a Miracle it could be directly through the Spirit of God or the Gift of healing upon a man of God or through a prayer of faith…
It does not require the faith of the recipient.
Divine healing is not just for removing symptoms but dealing with the root cause.
Miracles are not to deal with the ill health we are causing by our carelessness or bad life style choices. That is why for some having enjoyed the Miracle of Mercy not repenting nor changing their ways open themselves up to much worse demons of illness.
Matthew 12:43-45 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
43 But when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through dry [arid] places in search of rest, but it does not find any.
44 Then it says, I will go back to my house from which I came out. And when it arrives, it finds the place unoccupied, swept, put in order, and decorated.
45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So also shall it be with this wicked generation.
Galatians 6:7-8 AMPC
7 Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and [b]that only is what he will reap.
8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Healing for those born-again is not by mercy it is their Divine sustenance.
Matthew 15:26 YLT
26 and he answering said, `It is not good to take the children’s bread, and to cast to the little dogs.’
Acts 3:19 AMPC
19 So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of [a]reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;
With Christ all things including Miracles are given.
If you would not only continue by mercy but want much more by being in the Grace of God…then you have to be born-again again.
The Bible says all have sinned and have come short of God’s glory – Rom. 3:23 Who then is saved? How can you be saved?
- Realize that you are a sinner – “For all have sinned, and come “short of the glory of God” Rom 3:23
- Receive the gospel (good news of what Jesus did on the cross – died for your sins). – For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Tim. 2:5-6. “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Tim. 1:15
- Realize through the preaching of the gospel the sinfulness of your personal sin.
- Realize your need of a personal saviour from sin. “Jesus said to him. Do you believe in the son of God? John 9:35-38.
- Make a spiritual willful decision to turn away from sin and the sinful state and turn to Jesus to be your personal Lord and Saviour. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Act 3:19. Some people turn to good deed and doing penance or self torture for a personal Saviour; No, only Jesus can be your personal saviour.
- Believe the report of God about Jesus. Rom. 10:9-10. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
- Have a credible evidence of a changed life and attitude to sin, God, people of God and the world based on your repentance and acceptance of Jesus. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” II Cor. 5:17
- Be irrevocably committed to following Jesus and His will and word in all issues of life. “What will you have me to do Lord?” Acts. 9:6 If you do these things you’ll be saved.
Do you want to accept Christ into your heart now? Pray this prayer.
Father I come to you in the name of Jesus. I know that I’m a sinner and cannot save myself. But Jesus died for me, He shed His blood that I might be saved, today I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and saviour, forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood and make me whole. I forsake the devil, the world and all sinful habits, I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Father I thank you because you have saved me in Jesus name. Amen.
