There is an all-surpassing wisdom available to all God’s children through God. An intelligence greater than the wisdom the world has to offer. Aside from the Word and the Spirit of God, we must be careful about the source from which we gain knowledge and be sensitive not to be led down the path of a belief system that does not originate in God nor from Christ Jesus.
Someone I knew to be a Christian shared a document on healthy eating with me on WhatsApp. I opened it and read it, on several occasions in the write-up were words like “radiation of the blood”, “your vibration” and “aura” mentioned as the means of deciding how to live or what you should eat. My spirit was not at peace afterwards. So, I did some research and found out that terminologies such as, radiation of the blood, vibration of a man and aura are from a new age religion, has links to the occult and is also referred to as modern paganism. I responded to the person via WhatsApp letting him know about my findings and he was very grateful.
The answers we seek for any aspect of life is found in God’s Word, and it’s wisdom and safety for us to have a deep sense and desire to always seek the view of God on any matter. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom and He has been graciously given to help us:
1 John 2:20 NKJV
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you[a] know all things. 21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
John 14:25-27 AMPC
25 I have told you these things while I am still with you.
26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
We should indeed listen carefully and and respond with heightened sensitivity to what the Spirit of God in us is saying concerning any circumstances we are going through. The best, safest and most accurate adjustments we need to make to our lifestyle is best known to the One who knew us before we were formed in our mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:4-5a (NKJV) Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you.”
In Daniel 1:5-21 (KJV) Daniel, Shedrach, Meshach and Abednigo refused the kings venison and wine and fed on vegetables and were reported to be healthier than their counterparts but they did this under divine instruction. Peter was told to rise and eat meat that was previously considered unclean for Jews. But now it has been permitted because God said He has made it clean…although this had a greater implication than just eating exotic meats (Acts 10: 10-15).
The Word of God (1 Corinthians 8:10, Romans 14:23) also instructed us that we must at no point eat what is against our conscience nor what would make those eating with us go against their conscience.
And to God be the glory should we mistakenly and not deliberately eat or drink what we ought not to, we who believe in Christ Jesus have Divine cover:

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;
18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.
Our Trust in God, Dependency on His Wisdom, Obedience to the instructions and directions of the Holy Spirit, our Faith in His Word is the greatest all-round medicine for our spirit, soul and body;
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn; Open your ears to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight;
Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them,
And healing and health to all their flesh.
The anointed apostle, teacher and servant of God and my father in the Lord, Rev. O Areogun, instructed us to do regular health check to know what needs to be dealt with in our body. “It is not lack of faith to go for a health check” and if anyone has been diagnosed with an ailment, the Power of God is available and able to heal and make you whole. However, it still wisdom and not lack of faith after hands have been laid upon you for your healing to continue taking your medicine until you’ve have been given a clear health-bill by your doctor.
It is well with you and all that concerns you. You are marvelously helped in your health and wellbeing in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
