The Transformed Does Not Conform

Those Who Have Been Truly Transformed Through the Word of God Can No Longer Conform to the World and its Base System.
– Cornelius Bella

“Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]”.
Romans 12:2 AMPC

Be transformed not conformed
There is no conformation that is required of us rather a transformation through the renewal of our mind by the word of God. For many it is a process: but a process that transforms our mind to become the mind of Christ. It calls for letting go of that which does not glorify God or edifies the brethren. We have not been called to conform but rather to be transformed and to transform our world.

As Christians we are conscious of the active evidence of the Salvation we have recieved through Grace by faith from God our Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are conscious and thankful for the Help and fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

As Christians we do not conform to the standards of the world rather we are transformed beings who set standards through the obedience to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

As Christians we do not build on the standards of the world. But we build on the standards set by God, guided and grounded by His Word and the Holy Spirit.

As Christians it is not about achieving the world’s standard in what we do, but doing all we do to the level of God’s standard, which always exceedingly, abundantly and above.

As Christians we do all we do with reverence, as those who will give account and to the pleasing of God our Father and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As Christians we have been divinely transformed, (we have the mind of Christ) and we operate with a mind renewed through the anointed understanding of God’s Word to know what is good and what is the perfect will of God.

As Christians we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; called to show forth the praises of God who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

In closing, brothers and sisters…
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him.

Remain Blessed!
