Dear Born-again Christian brothers and sisters it is God’s will that we live a higher life, and only through Christ Jesus.
The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9 AMP)
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. (John 3:16 AMP)
There is more to this life than living and dying, and trying to make it through the day.
There is a more-life which is no ordinary life, a super-abundant life that we have access to in Christ Jesus. Alleluia!
We who love God and are called according to his purpose were not created to be a recluse or a nonentity but chosen and anointed with kingship to have dominion and to rule in life. Since the fall of Adam this identity was lost but in Christ the identity is re-stablished…glory be to God!
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. [Exod. 19:5, 6.] (1 Peter 2:9 AMP)
In Christ we are truly alive and living to enjoy the fullness of the goodness of God. The goodness is eternal. Not just in death but here and now, heaven is come to everyone who receives Christ as lord and saviour.
Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God. (John 3:3 AMP)
The goodness of God packaged in the person of Grace (Christ Jesus) is available to all men. There is no issue with God giving but the issue lies with men receiving.
For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. (Titus 2:11 AMP)
The life outside Christ Jesus is dominated by the devil. But life in Christ is an abundantly triumphant life and is brand new …not conformed any longer to the standards of this world.
Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP)
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10 AMP)
Life in Christ is eternal and it wins always!
…you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 AMP)
