It is Well? – Salvation First

For it to be said that it is well and for it to be truly well, salvation is a prerequisite.

It is well!

When a “Christian” say to people who have no relationship with Christ Jesus that it is well or that things are going to get better: he or she is likened to a fully clothed person giving an assurance of warmth to the naked standing outside his or her house in a very cold weather whilst the Christian man or woman stays within his or her house, nicely wrapped in a comfortable blanket, in front of a fire and sipping tea sweetened with honey.

“It is well” is a word from God to His children. Those who are His through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 3: 10-11 (KJV)
10 “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them,
For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
For the reward of his hands shall be [a]given him.

It is not right to be silent about the message of Salvation and be loud about the message of prosperity. We are to seek first the kingdom of God and then every other thing including the prosperity that is without sorrow gets added. To let people believe that its okay to desire what they can get from God without having an intimate relationship with God the giver is false doctrine.

Matthew 6:31-33 (KJV)
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Romans 14: 17-19 (KJV)
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

It should be a matter of concern and a stir to make the move to correct the wrong notion that some have, that they can refuse Christ Jesus and the salvation (righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost) He gives but it is okay to bow the knees in the Church to a man of God who is declaring “You will Prosper! to receive…to receive what really and from whom? How can anyone think they can depise the giver of a gift and yet get the true gift? Now God is sovereign and benevolent and merciful…but for how long shall we test His mercy?

2 Peter 3: 8-10 (AMP)
Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a [mighty and thunderous] roar, and the [material] elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up.

You have heard that Jesus is the way, the truth and life.

John 14:6 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

This is the Same Gift that God gave to us out of love…that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. How much more plainly do you want God to put it?

John 3:16 (AMP) “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His[One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Has your heart not occasionally pricked you and your mind reasoned that there is more to this life than just living and dying and trying to make it through the day?

John 10:10 (AMP)
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Whilst the devil seeks to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus came that we may have life and have it in abundance.

John 8:44 (KJV)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

I have heard some say I don’t want to choose a side… with all due respect; you must be joking right? The truth is if you are not in and for Christ Jesus, God is not your father, you belong to the devil willingly or unwillingly. And devil is also a god to you and he is doing the work of blinding your mind (demonic brain-washing).

I digress: This is one of the reasons why an unbeliever should not be on a Christian stage singing songs and believers join in singing along thinking it is alright…No! That unbeliever is connected to a different father and god. And he or she will channel only a demonic flow. Never again as Christians should we fall for the now popular statement “we serve the same god”…except your God and Father is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ – then No we don’t!

Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Jesus says my yoke is easy and my burden light…the life that Christ gives is a life of divine ease. The life that enjoys the pleasure of things working together for good. A life that can boldly declare in any circumstance that “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.

No one can force you to receive it, you will have to make that decision for yourself.

My desire to bring this word to you is not for anything else but out of love for the unsaved and obedience to the same Christ Jesus Who saved me.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for I know by faith and experience that it is the power of God that brings salvation to every one who believes (Romans 1: 15-16)

If you have already received Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour… let others know about your Salvation experience, be the salt and light that you have been made and bring value to lives and enlightenment to where there is none. We have all the reason to celebrate our relationship with God through Christ Jesus. We have no reason to be ashamed of the Gospel.

ROMANS 10:8‭-‬11 AMP…“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart ”–that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach– because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous–being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].”

If you have lost your way or you have not yet received Christ Jesus into your heart and confessed Him as Lord and Saviour and forsaken your sins then I encourage you to say this prayer:

“Father I come to you in the name of Jesus. I know that I’m a sinner and cannot save myself. But Jesus died for me, He shed His blood that I might be saved, today I accept Jesus  as my personal Lord and saviour, forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood and make me whole. I forsake the devil, the world and all sinful habits, I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. Father I thank you because you have saved me in Jesus name”. Amen.

If you have said that prayer, I congratulate you “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”(Ephesians 2:8-9) and I want to encourage to please visit http://www.lifeoasisinternationalchurch.org to access very important resources for your growth and development in your new life in Christ Jesus.
