The Easy Yoke and Light Burden

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:27‭-‬30 KJV

Definitions and Synonyms of Yoke and Burden

The Yoke of Christ:
noun – nominative singular masculine
zugos  dzoo-gos’:  a coupling, i.e. (figuratively) servitude (a law or obligation); also (literally) the beam of the balance (as connecting the scales) — pair of balances, yoke.”A yoke is a wooden beam normally used between a pair of oxen or other animals to enable them to pull together on a load when working in pairs, as oxen usually do; some yokes are fitted to individual animals”

What yokes us to Christ and yokes us to one another?…His Love, His Truth (Word), His Spirit… these bind us together as the body of Christ and binds us to Him. In Christ we are not unequally yoked with one another and to Him. But we are in every way unequally yoked with unbelievers. However if a believer engages in unrighteousness he or she becomes yoked to something else. Double mindedness ( such cannot recieve nothing) or Lukewarmness (such is spewed out) sets in.

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 AMP
14 Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

The Burden of Christ:
For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).
1 John 5:3 AMPC

God Makes Difficult Things Easy!“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” – Isaiah 43:2-3 KJV

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.” – Jude 24-25

noun – nominative singular neuter
phortion  for-tee’-on:  an invoice (as part of freight), i.e. (figuratively) a task or service — burden.”If you describe a problem or a responsibility as a burden, you mean that it causes someone a lot of difficulty, worry, or hardwork”.

So what could the light burden, our Application of Faith, studying and Meditating on God’s Word, Evangelism, yielding to the Holy Spirit, Quiet time, taking time pray (in tongues and with understanding) awareness of and responding correctly to His Grace (Divine participation or involvement)… Working out your salvation with reverence for the divine destiny you have a born-again into, Spirit-filled following Christ as citizen of the Kingdom of God. In the light of these we cannot think it a correct statement when we say it is not easy… to say it is not easy is to run the risk of calling Jesus a liar. To those who are not I’m Christ, who are without God in this world.. in their limited effort are justified to say that it is not easy. But for the Child of God in Christ, it is not so…our strength flows from the Almighty God and here lays our boldness to say we can do all things through Christ.

Philippians 4:13 KJV
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.What does this mean? It means that no matter what circumstances (the event) I face, I can respond with the strength of Christ. This doesn’t just mean I can overcome adversity; it also means that I have peace in the midst of struggles and hope in the midst of despair, which can come from no other source but Jesus. When we respond to the events of our lives with Christ in our hearts, the outcome will always glorify God. Not that we don’t a times fall way short of this, and frequently respond to events based on emotions, not Christ. But God’s grace is overwhelming, and we get new chances every day to grow.Jesus is saying and let all those who believe in Him:
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:1‭, ‬6‭-‬6‭, ‬11‭-‬14‭, ‬16‭-‬18‭, ‬23‭, ‬26‭-‬27 KJV
